In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and green onions. Mix.
5 Stuff the jalapenos:
6 Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, slightly overfilling the top for a creamier bite.
7 Add the crunchy topping:
8 Mix melted butter with panko breadcrumbs. Press the filling side of each jalapeno into the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
9 Air fry:
10 Place the jalapenos in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the filling is bubbly.
11 Serve:
12 Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then serve with ranch, spicy mayo, or garlic aioli.
Note
- Wear gloves when handling jalapenos to avoid irritation.
- For extra crunch, double-coat the tops in panko.
- Add a slice of bacon around each jalapeno before air-frying for a smoky variation.
- These can be made ahead and refrigerated up to 4 days or frozen up to 3 months.
