Apple Tarts

Ingredients
  • 6 ▢ puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 9 ▢ cups Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
  • ▢ ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 ▢ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 ▢ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 ▢ eggs, beaten (for egg wash)
  • ▢ Powdered sugar, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

    Roll out puff pastry and cut into 3–4 inch squares.

    Place apple slices in rows or spirals on each square. Fold the edges slightly.

    Brush with egg wash. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown.
